3. E-Waste

I was somewhat aware of what e-waste was and what we did with it, but I did not know the actual facts.  When watching Dr. Shutkin's presentation I was shocked when I saw what kids my age and sometimes younger did with the waste.  They would dismantle the mother boards and burn them to get the precious metals out.  While they were doing this, harmful chemicals were being burned off into the air causing them to breathe them in and other people near by.  After sometime they begin to develop health problems.  This is a problem that should be addressed immediately.
